Bloodsucker

It wasn't that one day Daisy woke up and the world was out to get her. It wasn't that it was too slow of a change for her to notice, either. For all the talk of frogs and boiling water, she was always painfully and acutely aware of the danger growing around her.

What is one to do, though, about the world turning against them? Even if the frog understands what's happening, how can its tiny body ever hope to knock the lid off of the pot? To escape?

Oh, well. At least she has the mask to keep her safe.
